Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally derived substance used in products, such as oils and edibles which have been thought to aid in relaxation. Unlike THC (the major active ingredient in marijuana), CBD is a non-addictive substance found in hemp, that won’t get you high.
Cannabigerol (CBG) is an organic compound from the same family as CBD, extracted from the plant using the same process. Just like CBD, it binds to already existing cannabinoid receptors in the human body.
Hemp and marijuana are both varieties of cannabis, but their morphology, chemical makeup, and usages are very different. Cannabinoids (derived from hemp) are now globally recognised and accepted in multiple industries including; food & drink, wellness and cosmetics sectors. CBD and CBG are derived from the hemp plant, not marijuana.
Our CBD and CBG work best when added to foods and ingredients once they have been cooked and are cooling. Alternatively, you can add to ingredients that aren't cooked such as, buttercream, salad dressing, condiments or smoothies.
It's important to check with your employer, as rules around the consumption of CBD and CBG can vary.
Whilst everyone reacts differently to cannabinoids, both CBD and CBG are non-psychoactive. Meaning they won't alter your state of mind. If you're unsure, try consuming them in a scenario where it's safe or suitable to feel tired.
Each of our products have been created 'flavour-free', so that you can add CBD or CBG to your food and drink without compromising on original flavour.
